To this day, the founder of "Yangjiang Oyster Sauce", Lin Guofa, is still firmly rooted in the local community of Qiongtou in Ma Xiang, a small traditional fishing village in Xiamen. Back then, Lin Guofa at the beginning of his business was keenly aware that the raw materials were abundant in the oyster-producing Qiongtou, and the fishermen had to dump the wastewater (from cooking oysters) in the process of drying the oysters, and with a pot and several vats, Lin Guofa led the villagers to use the wastewater for the production of oyster juice and oyster oil, which led to the employment of the villagers and increased their income, and thus opened a path of rapid development of the brand.
